Description

[Colonel] Thomas Lascelles to Carteret: Lord Stair was displeased with his report on the fortifications at Dunkirk and asked him to give reasons in writing. Stair then told him to go to inspect the Austrian artillery at Delft. He asks to return to his duties in England. Dated at The Hague. ff. 50, 51
