Stair and Robert Trevor to Carteret: they enclose a memorial to the states general from the Spanish ambassador regarding the privateer [SP 87/9/63]. The Dutch are likely to reject it. The states general have called upon the provinces for the subsidy for Austria. The council of state has ordered the regiments of Utrecht to prepare themselves. Marshal Maillebois' army may winter near Liège. Dated at The Hague. ff. 124, 125
