Carteret to Stair and [Robert] Trevor: the king's satisfaction with their proceedings. He encloses letters to Hyndford and Robinson to confirm Britain's willingness to guarantee the preliminaries of the peace treaty, and a copy of the act of guarantee. They are to obtain from Aremberg the number of Austrian troops which could campaign in Flanders and request that a body of 2,000 hussars be sent as soon as possible.
