Stair to Carteret: inactivity of the Dutch; the pensionary, [Count] Opdam, and the Amsterdam deputies insist that the memorial should not be submitted in its present form. He encloses the slip of the last Cologne gazette. The good news from Bohemia [advance of Prince Charles of Lorraine and Lobowitz on Prague]. The king of Prussian has still not accepted Maria Theresa's ultimatum. He has given Count [de la] Chavanne a memorial for his master [the king of Sardinia] and encloses a copy [SP 87/8/111].
