[Colonel] Humphrey Bland to Carteret: measures taken by Count Harrach and Count de la Laing, governor of Bruges, for the provision of beds and billets for the British troops. Necessity for putting troops in Ostend and Nieuport. The second embarkation should on no account be postponed. He quotes [in French] an extract from a letter by the commandant of Mons, detailing troop movements etc. on the frontier. Dated at Brussels. ff. 208-210
