Extract from the register of resolutions of the states general: there is no need for a new treaty with Great Britain. They have been assured by the French king that his army in Westphalia is not directed against them. British troops are being sent to Flanders without consultation. The Dutch have spent so much on the Barrier that nothing should be done in the Austrian Netherlands without consulting them. The deputies for foreign affairs are authorized to enter negotiations with Stair and [Robert] Trevor. ff. 144-147
