Copy letter from John Rowland at Greenock to the Board. It would take two days to give proper directions to the Masters of the several transports. Yesterday, received a letter from Lieutenant Colonel Lambert, Commanding Officer at Glasgow, which embarking will detain me until next Wednesday.
11 Nov 1757 Lieutenant Colonel Lambert to John Rowland. An officer and 20 men from each Regiment will march today to Greenock who will embark immediately. Captain Woods will explain. The number for each ship will be fixed with the officers and ships should be appointed to embark 300 each on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
