Account of Masters who have been struck off the List for refusing to go to sea or neglecting to send notice of the places of their abode pursuant to public Advertisement for that purpose prepared in answer to the directions of the Admiralty in April 1756.
Account of the time each of the following Masters have actually served in the Royal Navy since his first appointment prepared pursuant to the Directions of the Admiralty in April 1756.
Memorandum: The Masters undermentioned included in the list of those entitled to half pay sent in our letter of 13th March are omitted in the foregoing list being dead or appointed for ships at sea.
