Description

John Clevland. Mr Thompson was informed he should be prepared to take out a warrant for whatever ship we appoint him to. He has asked to be excused from the acceptance of a ship having a large imprest standing out against him in the Sick and Hurt from when he was Agent to that Office during the late War at Kinsale. He has also been led to believe that he might expect orders to return to Kinsale.
