Description

John Clevland. The Executors to the widow of the late Captain Griffin who commanded the Medways Prize and Princess Mary in the East Indies, have asked for some of his books and papers to be dispensed with. Commodores Barnet and Seyton and Admiral Griffin paid the expense of the first and last careen but the 2nd careen does not appear to have been paid. Gives other details of his accounts. The only objection to his wages being paid is the clearance of the imprest
