John Clevland. Receipt of letter from Captain Gaines of the Hound Sloop asking for an imprest against him for slops is removed and set against the Purser. We have received a bill drawn by the Purser of the sloop and acquainted Captain Gaines that he should have applied to the Contractor's agent at Hull for a supply. As he ordered them to be bought he should have drawn the bill himself and opine the imprest should remain against him
