Description

John Clevland. The late Captain Bate, Commander of the Mermaid, has sent an account for 3 careenings and for stores at South Carolina but the ship was only at sea for 12 days and was sheathed and fitted at Woolwich. Opine that too much money has been expended and ask for a stop to be put on such expenses
