John Clevland. Captain Riggs of the Jamaica Sloop drew a bill from Carolina for careening and stores. Have received another bill from Captain Du Bois for careening the Jamaica Sloop and stores and she was completely fitted at Portsmouth nine months before. The cost of maintaining sloops on the Plantations has greatly increased and ask for directions to put a stop to it and ask if the bill should be accepted
