Description

John Clevland. The Tryal Sloop was first built as a Snow with two masts but came home with three masts, a mizzen having been added by Captain LeCrass in February 1747. The Sloop has sailed better and is now fitting for sea. The Master Shipwright at Deptford asks whether she is to be fitted as a Snow or with a mizzen
