The Pursers of the Fougueux and Tyger inform us of a deficiency when passing their accounts, in bolsters, blankets and coverlets supplied by them to the forces sent to those ships in Gibraltar and Portmahon because the soldiers applied them to their own use. Ask to put a stop to such abuse in future, by ordering the Captains of ships taking troops to the Mediterranean, to prevent the soldiers from destroying or misapplying the bedding issued and to direct the Commanding officer of the Land Forces to stop the value of misapplication out of their pay, in order to reimburse the Navy and to allow the Pursers to pass their accounts
