Description

John Clevland. Mr Milnes has asked for an opinion on the petition from Richard Pankhurst to be paid his own and his servant's wages for when he acted as Carpenter of the Strafford. He does not appear to be entered on the books. Have examined the books of Port Royal Yard where he was a shipwright and discharged in February 1745 to serve in the Strafford until May 1746 when he was entered in the Seahorse. Propose he is paid his wages for the Strafford when he has passed his account but not his servant's as none was borne
