Description (What the record is about)
-
Josiah Burchett. The vessels taken up as tenders to carry men from the River to the Nore are too small but they are the same as usual. The vessels to take the baggage are passage boats and the fault of the overcrowding lies with the Lieutenants and Officers that procured them and the vessels were never intended to carry so many men
