Copy letter from the Master Attendant at Woolwich to the Board. Is sending the examination and confession of three men who broke open the bulkhead of the breadroom on the Duke and stole from the Steward room. They have been confined in irons until orders are received.
30 May 1739 Examination of Simon Boverton and Thomas Stimson of the Buckingham and James Gray of the Burford. Boverton confessed to stealing food and was caught by William Eastwood and Moses Kelley. Thomas Stimson confessed he had stolen several times. James Gray was accused by Stimson and Boverton of being party to their going into the bread room to which he confessed.
