Holdernesse to [Karl Wilhelm Ferdinand], hereditary prince of Brunswick: he has sent a courier with news of the fall of Montreal, a translation of the dispatches of Generals Amherst and Murray and the articles of capitulation. He asks to be informed of the prince's progress on the lower Rhine and has asked Yorke to keep him (the prince) informed. Dated at Whitehall. ff. 149, 150
