Description

Appointment of F G Rose as bacteriologist: further to his telegram of 24 September states that he has no objections to the appointment, but that 'Mr Rose must understand that he is appointed as a specialist on a good incremental scale of salary but has no claim to promotion to other posts in the medical service'. Unnumbered confidential despatch, folios 335-336
