Encloses copy of a letter to Major Lloyd, commanding the Royal Artillery, from Doctor Chisholme, Acting Surgeon to the detachment stationed at Grenada, representing its 'very unhealthy state', has therefore instructed the 'stationary' engineer to construct a wooden barrack for the detachment on Mount Cardigan; encloses engineer's estimates but hopes the building will be completed for less as he has ordered the Carolina Corps to furnish their artificers, and also labourers to carry up the materials.
