Nature of request
The abbot requests that he is able to have a writ to the keeper of the manor of Little Langley to pay the rent due to him for the mill there, and a writ to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer to pay to him the arrears of the same rent or make an allowance to him in the tenth granted to the king by the abbot.
Nature of endorsement
Let this petition, which was read in the presence of Bukelond, one of the keepers of the lands of the Chambre, be sent into Chancery, and there when the steward of the lands has been called and the evidence of the abbot have been viewed and the reasons for the king and the abbot heard, let justice be done.
