Nature of request
The prior requests that he can be discharged of the farm for the lands and tenements that the late king granted him from the lands that were the Templars, as he held it for only two years before he was ousted by the earl of Lancaster.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer that when they have searched their rolls and remembrances, if they find that the prior held the lands and tenements for two years and he was ousted in the manner stated then he should be charged for that time, and should be discharged of the rest.
