Nature of request
Pavelly requests that the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer be commanded to discharge him of a rent demanded from him by summons of the Exchequer for an assart of his ancestor on the manor of Paulerspury made when the manor was in the forest of Whittlewood. The manor is no longer in the forest, and following an earlier petition and inquisition the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer were ordered to discharge him but have not done so.
Nature of endorsement
Let the inquisition be brought into Chancery, and the chancellor is to call the wise people of the council, and the inquisition is to be viewed and let justice be done.
