Nature of request
The Ragouns request remedy as following the death of Iwern the keeper of the lands of Gower seized his lands and although Alice recovered them, she was ousted by Despenser and the lands are now in the king's hand by Despenser's forfeiture.
Nature of endorsement
They should have a writ to the keeper of those parts or to others, and the chancellor is to assign . . . [to enquire] how the castle and town came into Despenser's hands, and let the inquisition be returned into Chancery, and when it has been viewed and the execution concerning the diem clausit extremum executed, let justice be done.
