Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition dates to c. 1327 as it is clearly after the fall of the Despenser's and relates to one of their more notorious acts. An unrelated order to restore a separate part of the inheritance is probably contemporary and dates to 23 March 1327 (CFR 1327-37, p.35).
