Nature of request
The bishops, abbots and priors claim of the extortions by which their bailiffs of franchises when going to the Exchequer are charged 1 mark or 10s. when they should be charged 2s. or 12d.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer that they should make such correction of the contents of the petition that no more of these complaints come to the king.

The petition dates to 1320 as the petition was enrolled on the parliament roll of 1320 (Rot. Parl., vol. I, p.374a (no.25)).
