Nature of request
Crosseby requests remedy as he was at York pleading for a prebend in the church of Beverley and was unaware of a prohibition made in London where a clerk had put his name on the writ, and he has been excommunicated because Rissheton put an exception against him.

Because he has put in the exception against the estate of the king and the crown, let him be attached to answer the king, thus that the sheriff should have him etc.
