Nature of request
The people of Great Yarmouth request that the letters of obligation which they gave for money paid them to equip a fleet to protect the fishermen who were daily robbed and killed be held null as they did the service for which they were paid.
Nature of endorsement
Let a writ of Chancery be sent to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer that they should inform themselves as to whether the money was delivered to the people for the service, and if it is found that it is as the petition alleges then they should be discharged and their letters of obligation returned.
