Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition is dated to c. 1330 as it is clearly early in the reign of Edward III, the petition referring back to wrongs done by one of the Despensers, and is similar in content to SC 8/79/3938 which dates to the Westminster parliament held in November 1330 (Rot. Parl., vol. II, pp.41b-42a (no.52)).
