Burnet and Redenesse request that it be commanded that they are paid for salt and turves taken from them by Squyllerie and Halle for the king's use concerning his marriage at York.

The petition is dated to 1330 as the petition is one of those printed in Rot. Parl. which is dated in accordance with the Hale manuscript from which it was taken to the parliament held at Westminster in November 1330 (vol. II::p.33a-b (no.14)). The dating is reinforced by the order that resulted from it ordering payment made on 24 December 1330 (CPR 1343-5, p.83).
