[The petition is badly faded and in parts illegible, and has been damaged by the use of gall].The petitioner requests remedy as he was forced to alienate land in Aghton as he had been imprisoned by the earl of Lancaster and Holland because he was of the company of Banastre. By Holland's procurement the lands were granted to his kinsman, and they are now in the king's hand by the kinsman's forfeiture.
