1) Shirokes requests that he should be discharged of the arrears from his time as chamberlain, or that those sheriffs, bailiffs and farmers arrested by the justice be delivered to him.2) Shirokes request that he be allowed his accustomed wages with his robes for him and his clerks for all the time he was keeper of victuals.1)
Nature of endorsement
Concerning the first petition, let it be ordered to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer by writ containing the effect of the petition, and if the matter is true then they are to discharge him as reason demands.2) Concerning the second petition, let the allowances made to such victuallers be viewed, and they are to make allowance as has been done for other keepers of victuals.
