Nature of endorsement
It should be confirmed.
Places mentioned

Jersey, [Channel Islands]

Note
The petition is dated to 1377-1393 as the petition is clearly of Richard II's reign, and Calvelegh was warden of the islands from 1376-1393 (Channel Islands Petitions, p.84). The petition is addressed to the council, so may perhaps be early in the reign during the minority, but the hand has the appearance of a later date than this.
