The petition has been dated to c. 1330 in accordance with the dating of other petitions by this executor acting on his own and with fellow executors (SC 8/39/1925; SC 8/61/3033; SC 8/62/3064). Another petition by the same petitioner answered by the same words is dated to 1334, so a slightly later date is possible (Rot. Parl., vol. II, p.75a-b (no.12)).
