Nature of request
The Lestormy and his son and wife request that the profits that pertain to their keepership in the forest of Savernake be enquired of for they are withheld by the justices because they refused to accept that the Lestormys hold the keepership jointly despite the late king's licence, and they request that justice be done to them.1)
Nature of endorsement
Coram rege et magno consilio. They should declare what profits they are.2) Let it be ordered to the justices of the Forest that they inform themselves by the eyres and by other means on the liberties contained in the petition and that they do justice to the parties according to the assize of the Forest, and if they have trouble then they should advise the king.
