The lord of Curton requests that regard is had for him so that he can continue to serve the king, as he was granted by the prince £200 to be taken from the bailiwick of Sauveterre but has had no profit as he did not wish to oppress the people, and his lands are mortgaged or destroyed by the war, and he has served the prince with men-at-arms without wages.1)
