Nature of request
The prior requests that Richard Sampson, against whom he recovered a certain sum as damages for trespass, be kept in prison in the Marshalsea as he was adjudged to there until he had satisfied the prior but has been let out at his will delaying the prior's execution and that of the king's court.
Nature of endorsement
He should have a writ directed to Scrope that he order the keeper that he should keep Sampson in prison so that he is not allowed out at will, and he is not to be delivered before both the king and the prior is satisfied. If he wishes he should have a writ to attach the keeper to answer the making and the prior.
