Description

Nature of request
Mountbray and Bohun request remedy and grace concerning the manor of Wickhambreaux in Kent, which Hugh le Despenser, through his power, lordship and his greed, made Braose give to him without giving anything for it, except promising the delivery of the petitioner and her son.
Nature of endorsement
He should have a writ in Chancery to the treasurer and chamberlains of the Exchequer to bring the transcript of the fine under the seal of the Exchequer. And because the petition refers to the recognizance being made by Bousser while the petitioner was in prison, let it be ordered by writ of Chancery to Ludyngton to have the writ by which Bousser took the recognizance before the council without delay.
