Nature of request
The Zousches request remedy for while she was imprisoned Mortimer forced them to grant to him the lands of Glamorgan and Morgannwg and other lands so that she could be delivered.1)
Nature of endorsement
He should have a writ to bring the cause of the attachment and the taking before the council. The writ should be directed to John de Stonor, and he should also bring the fine levied before him and his companions concerning the lands before the council in parliament.2) And afterwards Stonor came before the council and said that he did not wish to speak concerning the cause without the king's command, and he said that he had spoken to the king who had said to him that he wished to . . . certain people to the business.3) Let this matter be discussed before those assigned, and afterwards show the king.
