Nature of request
Fenwyk and the others request a writ to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer to supersede all manner of demands against them, and to the sheriff of Northumberland to repay everything that he has levied from them as they were taken and imprisoned and outrageously fined against the law for obstructions on the Tyne following a commission to the earl of Angus to examine the matter.
Nature of endorsement
Let a writ be sent to the justices who are assigned to oust all nuisances between now and Michaelmas, and let a writ be sent to the sheriff of Northumberland to cease levying these fines and to repay what he has already levied; and let a writ be sent to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer to cease their demands and discharge the petitioners.
