Nature of request
Leukenor requests a writ to the mayor of London to hold an inquisition concerning his right to the advowson of the church of St Martin as Despenser took it and other tenements and detained them, and they have now come into the king's hand by Despenser's forfeiture. He requests that the mayor do justice to him as they have done to others in similar situations.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the mayor and sheriffs of London by writ of Chancery that they should enquire of the contents of the petition and other articles etc.
