- The petitioners request that they be able to have attorneys in the courts of the wapentake of Staincliffe and the wapentakes in Craven, be able to plead their suits, and should be amerced as any other secular person as they pleaded for this before the king's father, and although a remedy was ordained the stewards and bailiffs still trouble them.
