It seems to the council, if it pleases the king, that the king of France be requested to repeal [the banishment] of the petitioner and others.2) Coram rege.3) He is to state what lands he lost because of his service to the king, and what compensation he received from the earl of Kent and others, and for his brother also.4) Let the constable of Bordeaux be ordered to account with him . . .5) Let the seneschal of Gascony be ordered . . . [illegible].6) Coram rege.

The petition appears to date to 1330 as pardons seem to have been obtained in response to the first part of the petition as appears by an entry in the patent rolls, and entries in the Gascon rolls of about the same date may relate to part two of the petition (CPR 1327-30, p.491; Carte, vol. I, pp.70, 73).
