- The petition is dated on the repair to? 1378, reciting a grant of the keepership of Northampton Castle to William de Murrers on 7 October 1378 (the date 7 October certainly appears in the petition). However, the petition is now too faded to allow any better identification, although may have been more legible when the note was added.
