[Petition in three parts].1) The petitioner requests remedy as Burgh and Steins have distrained his sheep which he was forced to ransom and in the meantime many of his sheep died.2) He requests remedy for crops of his carried away by Bracoun.3) He requests remedy as Sugnall bought sheep from him but has not paid for them.

This is clearly a stray plaint from the Staffordshire eyre of 1293, the other plaints for which are now in JUST 1/1553 (with further strays elsewhere). The eyre took place between 7 and 22 January 1293 in Lichfield, and 27 January and 25 February 1293 in Stafford (D. Crook, Records of the General Eyre, p.176).
