The abbot requests the restoration of the rents from several tenements [street names given] which are in the hand of the king by the forfeiture of those holding them, they being the right of his church.1)
Nature of endorsement
[Lengthy response apparently the return of a jury to an inquisition into the matter].2) Coram magno consilio.3) They should have a writ to the sheriff of Berwick to pay them the rent if it was detained for that reason.
