The commonalty request remedy as the burgesses cut their woods without licence and . . . as without remedy they will be unable to pay their farm.

Let it be ordered to the justice that he call the parties before him, hear their arguments, and do right to them, always having regard to the ordinances, if any were made by the king on such things.
