The petitioner requests that he may pay the arrears from his account from when he was bailiff in those parts in instalments as he has nothing to pay it with because of the death of beasts.1)

Coram rege.2) Let it be ordered to the justice that if he finds sufficient surety to pay the moiety of the arrears at Easter next, and the other moiety at the feast of St Michael next then he is to have such respite.
