Nature of request
Penkiston requests the grant of a writ of novel disseisin against the treasurer and his brother and others involved in the wrong against him, and that the justice of Ireland be commanded in the presence of the treasurer and other in the Exchequer to give redress of the error whereby he was disseised wrongfully by writ of Exchequer of a tenement in Arthurstown which he had recovered from his brother by writ of novel disseisin.1)

Coram rege.2) He should sue a writ in that Chancery to the justice of Ireland that in the Exchequer in the presence of the treasurer and barons he should do justice.3) Coram cancellario etc.
